Why show a stone wet?
Water can reveal color saturation and pattern that may appear after polishing. The dry photograph still shows the surface you will receive.
What makes petrified wood different?
The original wood structure remains visible after minerals replace the organic material. Rings, grain, voids, and fractures are part of each piece.
Why photograph every piece?
These are individual objects. Pattern, thickness, edges, fractures, and color vary too much for a representative product photo.
